Bought the Adidas bag I was eyeing. Its blue. Previous time I saw it in Adidas City Link, they didnt have the blue one and it costs $105. Today I saw the blue one in Adidas The Cathay, and it had this amazingly beautiful red tag on it that said….. SEASONAL SALE!!! 30% off! Bought it in the end for 73 something… hahahaha.
So blessed that I didnt buy it last week, and that I managed to by it during the seasonal sale. =)
It’s been too long since I’ve seriously worked on anything, so today will mark the day that I get back into the groove.
Kick it off with a few new books. “Creative License” teaches one how to tap into their creative juices and remain creative even in bad times (TIMES LIKE THESE!). The other 2 are “art of” books for movies “Robots” and “Bolt”. I personally loved Robots for its intriuging character design, and Bolt for pure character lovability.
And to aid in my anatomy and those tricky poses, I have a stickman figurine now…
And to top it all off, 2 new COPIC markers for shading fun…

New beginnings.
Today i wanted a sign.
I asked God for a rainbow.
Rain clouds gathered in the distant skies outside my window.
On my way out I felt a sudden urge to look into the sky.
There it was.
Perfect.
Each color clear and bold.
A perfect arc, both ends touching the horizon.
I asked and He delivered.
Everyone who saw it stopped to admire and take a photo.
It brought a smile to my face, how my simple request can make others happy too.
And it brought a conclusion to me.
Sometimes humans are just too busy keeping their heads hung to notice the miracles happening above their heads.
=)
Didn’t have a chance to capture the rainbow in its entirety. But for those who missed it, you are no doubt still blessed.
P/S: If you squint hard enough, you will notice in the first picture that there is another rainbow above the main one… Very faint, but it’s there.
So, recently, I’ve developed a new fetish. That of collecting nice looking notebooks! Here are 2 new ones that I just bought over the weekend.
Today is the 3rd of February 2009, and I have some new purchases!
Firstly is a cool white 320 GB Western Digital “My Passport” Portable Harddisk! All my movies/dramas/animes will go in there, along with… ALL MY OTHER STUFF!!!! Because it’s just that damn huge, everything can fit inside.
Second purchase of the day is… Creative Live!Cam! Webcam webcam! Now I can webcam. Haha….
Very cheap lah. Other shops quote S$159 for the harddisk and S$49 for the webcam, but i got the harddisk for S$135 and the webcam for S$29 at Fuwell, Sim Lim Square.
I’m off to play with my toys! Bye!
1st Feb 2009, 5 Science of year 2002 had our annual Chinese New Year gathering. As usual, the turn out for out gathering was small, as we guys don’t have much “attraction” to attract the girls to come. Nonetheless we had fun. See you guys again next year. Hahaha…

Ok, this is my first post written in chinese, and its SO TIRING to type chinese. For someone who depends on hanyu pinyin to type that is. Anyway hope my chinese inproves, and for those who can’t read chinese, in short, I just bought a new pair of shoes, and a really nice camera pouch is coming soon~!

Manchester United Special Edition 40th Anniversary 3rd away kit (in memory of the 1968 European Cup win). Christmas present from Bro.
MUJI miniature paper bag, done by Johnson and Laura. It’s tiny. 3cm across, I have a feeling their miniature works will someday fetch a hefty sum. Not really a present, but Johnson gave me this when I dropped by their place.
I really feel very lucky and blessed to have the people that I have around me. As I’ve said before, it’s not the price of the gifts, but the thoughts behind them that mean so much to me.
Now, some things I bought to keep myself sane:
Cute notebook that I bought from Marina Square. It has cute illustrations on every page, each one different. I won’t be writing in this book though. Too nice to write on. =P
Nice Japanese tea cup from Daiso. S$2.00. No idea what the words mean, only know that 1 – 10 is written at the beginning of each line.
Adidas F50 Training Goalkeeper Gloves. Need to protect my hands from those vicious shots lah. No hands means no career. (I’m not a goalkeeper, just that we have a custom where the one who scores will be the next keeper…. I score too much)
Finally, my latest project. Mikoyan MIG-29 Fulcrum. Still very much work in progress. Missiles and base to be done. And stickers….. (stickers just makes it sound so… amateur)
